Public harassment in government offices

This is a very common topic, more or less all citizens of our state including from Blocks to city are familiar with this problem and the same has been continuing since Independence.

In this issue both the state government offices and the central government offices are in the same boat.If a citizen is able to get his work done by a single visit in any office either of central or state he may be considered as the  luckiest one. The extent of harassment of either villagers or city people can't be measured. It  can be appreciated that despite the sufferings of the villagers , they visit Block offices or subdivision offices covering a long distance.

When they reach the relevant office it would be minimum twelve in the noon despite starting from residence early in the morning.

After so many pains  he may hear that the official who deals his case was absent. He was advised  to visit again after a week. It may so happen that he may visit five days to get the work done.

This is not a stray example and the same is the real and tragic picture.Same things happen in central government offices as well.As a result of these harassment these results in following sufferings.

Elderly  and sick people face unthinkable inconvenience. The poor people face extreme inconveniences for transport and extra pocket expenses which no doubt are the over taxation for the poor people.

Besides the most important thing is that the suffering may lead both in cash or otherwise due to delay in completion of the work.

I don't know the way of solution.Only appeal will not work. Only my humble prayer to all officials of the central government and state government who deal with public works and face public for their work get done kindly to remember that there is a thing called law of nature . They also have to retire from services and they also may have to visit any office for any work at old age and at that time they are also likely to be harassed like they are harassing others.
