Bengali reality shows and celebrities

I think there are lots of controversies over the definition of intellectual similarly there are lots of controversies over the definition of celebrities. It is very difficult to classify who are celebrities and who are not.Personally I feel we are tired of celebrities because the number of the same having been increased at a very fast rate.

It is my humble prayer to the scholarly persons kindly to make a study in this respect and prepare a guideline so as to enable us to discharge our duties towards them.

Let us enter in to the discussion of the real point. Presently we are having a good number of  Bengali channels in Television where some programmes are regularly held like Didi  number one, Dadagiri  and Happy parents day . Unfortunately in these programmes the majority of participants are so called celebrities and they  take huge gifts according to their choice.

Firstly let us come to  Didi number one . It is found that very often so called celebrities are participating and taking gifts according to their choices.Secondly Dadagiri. Similar picture is found like Didi number one.Unfortunately here too the chance of common people are less in participating and their chances are given to VIPs.

The third one happy parents day which gives ample scope to take gifts.Very frequently the celebrities participate and utilises the scope in a full way to take the costly gifts. Unfortunately the behaviour of the majority of celebrities is surprising to me in view of the fact when they place their requisitions to the anchor with a greedy face and their shameless in this regard may be an example.

Besides the most important thing those who are highly established why they are using this platform to fulfill the wish of their parents. If they are so dutiful to their parents they should do it from meeting their own sources.

It is my humble prayer to the authority kindly to go for common people instead of some well established greedy faces. It is however to be mentioned that a very small percentage of celebrities didn't take for themselves but for the poor people.

In this context it will be gross injustice from my part if I don't mention the name of Respected Debsankar  Haldar in view of the fact one day his family members participated in the programme and did not touch anything for themselves and the entire gifts were dedicated to the poor people.

As regards Dadagiri the participants are mostly from the upper class of the society.

They must appear but unfortunately the lower class of people are not appearing to a satisfactory level.
