The  professional hazards faced by the journalists .

Aparently the journalists  are regarded as most glamorous professional persons and also key persons of the country as if they fail to supply news then we shall be in dark.

Presently journalists are sharply divided in to camps .One section is engaged in electronic media and the other work in print media. But Both the  sections work under tremendous pressure.  They cover all the major incidents. They face problems from two sides .Very often it is found they are beaten by  a section of  Rowdy people.  For example they attend to cover the  fighting  of the two groups on behalf of their employers and they  expect the  best presentations at the earliest .

So many incidents happen every day including political. They cannot avoid a single one. As far as political news are concerned most of the political parties want to keep them same secret .It is the efficiency of a journalist to collect the same and at the earliest to get it printed in the respective newspaper or channel and In both the cases they will enjoy the credit for presenting the news at the earliest.
This is applicable in respect of all news which come to limelight.

From the above it may be appreciated tgat they work under tremendous pressure and competition with the fellow colleagues of the opposite camps. Thus when they visit to cover a news we may extent our cooperation to enable them to do the jobs . In many cases it is found that cameras of the photographers are either snatched or broken by the mob and the same are against civilisation. Besides in some occasions the reporters at the cost of the life risks try to cover any important and touchy news. They are bitten in such a way that they sometimes may  require to be admitted in hospitals.

These are all against civilisation and democracy. They have to take severe pains to collect the secret administrative decisions of the Govt. We should be respectful towards this noble profession.

The renowned journalists like Tushar Kanti Ghosh , Chapala kanto Bhattacharya , Bibekananda Mukherjee , Satyendra Narayan Mazumder etc. made significant contributions for the development of Bengali newspapers.
